Watch video-Pampaso residents block Accra-Kumasi highway

Inhabitants of Pampaso Number 1, a local area close to Nsawam in the Eastern District, are fighting the destroying of their homes.

“Our lights went off around 2 am, we thought it was the typical ECG issue and would be reestablished soon. Out of nowhere, we heard discharges. These men thumped on our entryways, tossed us out, and destroyed our structures.

“We don’t have the foggiest idea what is happening. Nobody has let us know anything,” an inhabitant told JoyNews.

The occupants accordingly, approached the Overseer General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare to explore the issue.

“IGP Dampare since you came we’ve seen that you’ve changed the police force, if it’s not too much trouble, help us,” they argued.

In the interim, the Provincial Police Professional, DSP Ebenezer Tetteh says they’ve mounted a quest for the driving force.
