Just in : MP for Kumawu Hon. Phillip Atta Basoah is dead
The MP for Kumawu in the Ashanti Region of Ghana , Philip Atta Basoah is dead.
His family confirmed the sudden death to the media by indicating that, he died early this morning, Tuesday, March 28 2023.
He died at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital at the at the age of 53
Philip Atta Basoah was conspicuously missing in parliament last Friday, March 24, 2023 during a critical vote to confirm ministerial appointees of President Akufo-Addo.
Neither his Personal Assistant nor anyone close to him knew his whereabouts until his room was forcibly opened, only to find him collapsed.
