The Nation Builders Corps employees lament over delayed system of payment of their due stipends since the introduction of this initiative, meanwhile government workers have already received their salaries
In an interview with some of the employees of the corps, they emphasized how life has become bitter for them since the government refusal to enhance their permanency since October 2021 and to settle them their due stipends as their contract ended in October 2021.
” We can’t handle this hardship again, we are humbly waiting for our stipend to be paid”, they cried.
More over, they narrated that, the government promised them for permanent employment so they are humbly waiting.They initiated that, the Government has refused them for payment of their due stipends and permanency as promised before the 2020 general elections.
Now they are begging the Government of Ghana to maintain them permanently as promised.
